Ms Sarah Haydon

Sarah is a director of Ports of Auckland Limited, The Co-operative Bank Limited, and GNS Science; a Council Member of Unitec; the Chairman of Cavalier Corporation Limited and New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Inc; an Executive Committee Member of Waste Disposal Services and a trustee of a charitable trust providing scholarships and fellowships for University of Auckland and University of Otago. Previously she has been a director of AsureQuality Limited (state-owned enterprise).

Sarah's most recent executive role was as a Project Director for OfficeMax Australasia focusing on major change management programmes following a year as interim CFO Australia. Prior to that she was Chief Financial Officer of OfficeMax New Zealand for ten years.

She is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors and a qualified chartered accountant (KPMG London). Other companies where Sarah has worked include BP (British Petroleum) plc both in the UK and on international project work and with TVNZ following her emigration to NZ in 1998.

Sarah has an extensive background in planning, finance, general management and organisational development. She has led very large teams of people and has strong HR and people skills and is passionate about bringing out the best in people.Sarah joined The Boardroom Practice team in 2012.
