Ms Sarah Haydon

Sarah is currently the Chair of The Co-operative Bank Limited; the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of  Ports of Auckland Limited; and a trustee of a charitable trust providing scholarships and fellowships for the University of Auckland and University of Otago.

Other previous governance roles include the Chair of Cavalier Corporation Limited, a public listed company; the Deputy Chair and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of GNS Science Limited, a crown research institute; Chair of New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Inc.charity; Council member and Chair of the Audit Committee of Unitec; and Director of AsureQuality Limited, a state-owned enterprise.
 
Sarah's most recent executive roles were with OfficeMax Australasia. Other companies where Sarah has worked include British Petroleum plc both in the UK and on international project work and with TVNZ following her emigration to NZ in 1998.

Sarah has an extensive background in planning, finance, general management and organisational development. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the UK Institute of Chartered Accountants.
 
Sarah joined The Boardroom Practice team in 2012 and specialises in governance training and board reviews.
