Ron Hamilton enjoyed a career in Treasury, including secondments to the board of the Asian Development Bank and the State Owned Enterprises Unit. He was active in the early SOE corporatisations and in the development of the associated monitoring and governance protocols. His last appointment was as Director, Appointments & Governance in CCMAU, which gave him practical insights into government company boards, board performance and in board appointments. He has provided governance advice in a number of countries.
Janine Smith is a professional Director with appointments in government, public and private sector Boards. Her CEO, Strategic Management and Operational and Marketing roles as well as governance provides The Boardroom Practice Limited with a unique combination of skills and experience.
Dr Wheeler is a company chair and director and is one of New Zealand’s foremost business economists. His previous roles with the New Zealand government have included providing advice on diversity in board appointments and in governance while his business roles have included working at senior levels with Maori.
