The Boardroom Practice Ltd (TBPL) consists of a group of respected business, government and governance specialists.  Since its formation in 2003, TBPL has evolved from simply being a director and board development organisation to one which has a strong record in ownership structures, shareholder, stakeholder, board and management relationships, the management of risk and governance in times of stress.

All three principals are directors across diverse sectors of the business and not-for-profit economies.  All three have experience in governance jurisdictions in other countries and in working for global agencies such as the IMF, the World Bank and the ADB.

The fundamental belief which drives TBPL's work is that governance is not primarily a regulatory, compliance, accounting or administrative requirement:
